Scope
A machine control system will confidently dig in the wrong place if the base is off or the model is wrong. We set the base properly, check the surfaces before they reach the cab, and independently verify what got built. We are not tied to any machine control brand, so the recommendation you get is about your site rather than our stock.

- Trimble SX10 · Scanning total station. Survey and scan from one setup, on the same control. Fewer things to go wrong.
- DJI Mavic 3E · Our workhorse in the air. Topo, progress shots, anything easier seen from above.
- Emlid RS4 · GNSS receivers and bases, run through Emlid Flow. Bolt one to a container or move it daily, whatever suits the site.
- HP SitePrint · A robot that draws your walls onto the slab. We ran one of the first in New Zealand, on polished concrete with no margin for error.
Hired per project
- RIEGL VZ-600i · Serious long-range scanner. We bring one in when the site is too big or too far for our own kit.
Larger or longer-range scanning hardware is specified and hired per project.

Frequently asked questions
Do you supply machine control hardware?
We supply Emlid GNSS receivers and base stations through Ferntech, the New Zealand distributor, and we set them up. We are not aligned to any particular machine control brand, so advice on the guidance system itself stays independent of what we sell.
Can you set up a base station for our site?
Yes. We can install a fixed semi-permanent base, typically on a container or structure once the best position is confirmed, or set you up with a movable base that can be re-established quickly each day. We will talk you through which suits your site and programme.
Can you prepare the 3D models our machines run to?
Yes. We prepare machine control surfaces from design files, check them against the design intent, and flag problems before they reach the cab rather than after.
How do you verify machine-placed work?
With independent survey measurement tied to the same control the machine is working from. That is the only way to know whether the guidance is telling the truth.
Why use a surveyor rather than the machine control supplier?
Suppliers know their own systems inside out. A licensed survey practice brings independent control, datum discipline and verification, which is what matters when a dispute or a claim turns on whether the levels were right.
